Thanks dear daughter. It was a nice day. I went on a bike ride, smelled the apples at the processor, ate sweet blackberries along the bike trail that were warm from the sun, and enjoyed the sunshiny day. And then dinner at a nice restaurant that night. Birthdays get more low-key as you get older, befitting the mixed blessing that they are.
